Reading through historical sources for a thesis about Leonardo and his workshop and suddenly there is a twisting dagger in my chest. Apparently Leonardo suffered from a stroke during the 3 last years of his life and was rendered unable to use his hand. HE COULDN’T DRAW! I’ve been crying for the part hour and I just can’t stop. I love this man and to know how much he must have suffered from this - I just can’t! I'm inconsolable right now.
